Data processing and purpose
Claire BERTHEUX SCOTTE processes personal data as data controller in order to provide services to its customers and to manage its relationships with its customers. Claire BERTHEUX SCOTTE may also occasionally send news on its activity or legal subjects likely to interest customers or prospects.
Legal basis
The processing by Claire BERTHEUX SCOTTE of the personal data (“Personal Data”) of its customers or their employees, legal representatives or agents (the “Data Subjects”) is based on the following legal bases:
- the execution of a contract, for the provision of services
- compliance with legal and regulatory obligations in terms of the fight against money laundering, invoicing and accounting
- the legitimate interest of Claire BERTHEUX SCOTTE, for the management of relations with her clients, the sending of news or the organization of events for the firm.
Recipients
Personal Data is intended solely for Claire BERTHEUX SCOTTE. The data is not communicated to third parties without the prior authorization of the Client, with the exception of IT and accounting service providers from Claire BERTHEUX SCOTTE who may have access to Personal Data in the context of the performance of their services. Claire BERTHEUX SCOTTE undertakes to enter into a contract with these service providers providing for adequate security and confidentiality obligations.
Retention period
Claire BERTHEUX SCOTTE keeps Personal Data only for the duration of the relationship with her clients, then for a period of three years from the last contact with her clients. The data is then archived during the statutory limitation period. For prospects, Personal Data is kept for a period of three years after the last contact with this prospect.
Data transfer outside the EU
Personal Data is stored on servers located in Europe. No transfer of this data to other countries that do not offer adequate protection is made.
Rights of Data Subjects
In accordance with the applicable legal provisions, the Data Subjects have the right to access, rectify and, in certain cases, delete their information. They may also, in certain circumstances, require Claire BERTHEUX SCOTTE to limit the processing of their Personal Data or provide them with their Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. Data Subjects can also, at any time, withdraw their consent to the use of their Personal Data for marketing purposes.
